Team 100K takes on Run Good’s “Road Trip” tour this week in Tunica

Run Good has kicked off a brand new season coined “Road Trip” featuring 10 stops from California to Maryland over the next 4 months, culminating in the Dream Seat Invitational November 29th in Thunder Valley. Each stop has numerous ring events featuring the tours latest design (each season gets it’s own uniquely designed rings), with a bonus perk of each ring winner being eligible to enter the DSI at the end of the season. The winner of that tournament gets a free seat into the Poker Go Tour championship in January which boasts a $500,000 first place prize, creating huge upside for the series.

Run Good’s 10 stop tour starts tomorrow with a stop in Tunica, Mississippi, with more than a dozen ring events, and $250,000 in guarantees featuring a $600 $200k main event. There is a little something for everyone in this series with a seniors event, a ladies event, PLO, bounty tournaments, and even a flip and go event to round out the series.

This will be Team 100k’s first shot at a series for the 23-24 season, and the Midwest Region is poised and ready to take their shots this week. The Memphis Three, Alexandra Loveless, Jason Walker, and David Frazier, along with regional director Shawne Child will be there throughout the week taking their shots. For Shawne “Ravenrage” Child this will be his first Run Good tournament series, he will kick off his journey tomorrow at 10 AM in the seniors event. Shawne has been hammering the online volume the last 4 weeks in prep for this series, and this is a perfect opportunity for that prep work to come to fruition.

The Memphis Three took off the week from work from their day jobs to fire at the series hard, and are excited for their debut as well. David Frazier is focusing on the bounty tournaments, the $250 deep stack 50k on Wednesday and satellites to the Main Event this weekend. This is home court territory for David who already has a WSOP Circuit final table to his name here in Tunica.

For Jason Walker, the timing couldn’t be better as he chases one of his career goals of winning a ring:

“The ultimate goal is to final table the deep stack ring event and win a ring however smaller goals are to bag up and make day two of the deepstack, and to be able to satellite into the main event. I am rested, relaxed and most importantly prepared. I learned a good bit in the past month that I am confident will help me achieve my goals.”

Alexandra also has experience on her home turf in Tunica, with a 11th place finish in a previous Run Good ladies event and a day 2 bag in the main.

“I am feeling excited! The Run Good Tour is my favorite series and last time they came I won a satellite into the main and bagged up to day two so I am hoping I can do it again this year! I feel more prepared this time around from all the studying and advice I’ve been getting. I am excited to put my new knowledge into practice. I would also love to be able to take down the Ladies event and get a ring out of it! I always have so much fun with this series and all the amazing people so I’m super pumped for it!”

Action kicks off tomorrow with the 10 AM Seniors event, and wraps up on Sunday with day 2 of the main event and the closer. Team 100k will be covering all the action of our team pros, so stay tuned to the website and our social media for updates on how our team is doing.
